(May 2026) On Saturday, May 30th, Marina del Rey Historical Society invites the public to celebrate the Grand Opening of both its new location and all new gallery with a Ribbon Cutting at 1pm, and live Waterfront DJ from 1 to 5pm. The new location is across the hallway within the same Building C of the Fisherman’s Village shopping center. The new exhibit, which includes Native American artifacts, was designed by Pacific Ocean Management’s Lalo Marquez. Information, 424-391-6976.
The celebration continues on Sunday, May 31st, with live music featuring the Ohio Plus Trio in the courtyard plaza. The Sunday event launches the Fisherman’s Village 2026 Summer Series. It’s family friendly, admission is free, and attendees are invited to bring a chair for “good music and great vibes.” Fisherman’s Village is located at 13723 Fiji Way, Marina del Rey.
